Description: The Great Air War Aaron Norman 1st Ed 1968 HC, The Men The Planes WWI Aviation. * This book once belonged to Major Raymond Brim who passed away in 2019, I was fortunate enough to attend an estate sale at his home. I still have things that I have not given up yet, Jet Quilifaction Card (pictured), because it's a true honor to have some possessions that once belong to this great man. He joined the Eighth Air Force as a B-17 pilot for 25 missions over Europe, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross and Four Air Medals. He spent over 30 years in the Air Force including tours in the Aleutian Islands, Japan, Germany and three tours in Washington DC. He graduated from the Air Force Command and Staff College as a Distinguished Graduate and later graduated from the Air Force War College. For his contributions as a staff officer and Commander he was awarded two Legions of Merit, the Air Force Commendation Medal and two Presidential Citations. Major Brim became a published author at the age of 94 with his Memoir "Pathfinder Pioneer" the Memoir of a Lead Bomber Pilot in World War ll, (pitchered). All his life he always said he was the luckiest guy in the world. So this book has lots of highlights in it that was put there by Major Brim. But that's what makes it all the more special as a piece of History. So I hope someone gets it that appreciates the history that it has had and been through with a very humble but famous Colonel at the time, MAJOR BRIM. **>> This sale is the Book ONLY, not the pictures or Jet Quilifaction Card..<<** Shipped USPS Media Mail
