Description: The Day Kennedy Was Shot (Jim Bishop, 1968 Hardcover w/DJ) Book club edition This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket is in fair condition for its age. It was pointed out to me that this dust jacket has a unique misprint not seen in all dust jackets...the copyright is 1968 while the dust jacket states "Printed in the U.S.A. 1876" on back inside flap at the bottom (see photo). The book shows signs of age or wear through slight cover/spine fading, light soil, spine/cover edge/corner rub, corner push, spine upper/lower end rub/push, page edge rub or scuffs, page edge light soil, a couple of edge nicks, and yellowing of pages. Page 257 corner fold. Pages 401 and 403 small corner fold. Small edge dent back cover upper edge. Hinges are not visible. Spine and hinges are in good shape. All pages are intact with no marks noted. The dust jacket shows signs of age/wear through cover/spine edge/corner rubbing/chaffing/tears/chips/splits/fraying/creasing, soiling, slight tanning near edges, and slight fading. Most of the tears and chips are on the front lower edge, spine upper and lower edges. Notable chip on the front lower edge at the corner. It measures about 3/8" upward on the edge. Splits are minimal except for the chip just noted. Back inside flap lower corner fold. Tear of about 3/4" on the front lower edge.
