Description: This is a very nice Tenmoku pottery vase from Malaysia. It is 3-1/2" tall, and the opening of vase is 2-1/4". The base is 2" and the widest across is 3-1/2". Some of the stoneware is left natural with a satin finish and some spots have a blue and celedon shiny glaze. I love the pressed in look of the flowers. I like the texture this piece has it is interesting especially where the brown glaze is wiped into flower veins. The color, no color, the texture, the shiny glaze and dull glaze, this is beautiful. The inside is the shiny brown glaze. Nice little piece.
