Description: Here is a wonderful, very much loved, 24", huggable Teddy Bear from the 1940's. He is completely intact with no bare spots, but the mouth cording is mostly missing. His eyes are wooden shoe button type, he is bendable, not jointed, and has a leather nose and leather pads on his feet. He was recently appraised by Brenda Yenke at: bearsandbuds.com. She said he was unusual, and she looked everywhere but could not find any exactly like him. She concluded he was from the 1940's, English or Australian, Kapok filled, natural fabric, possibly lamb skin and was perhaps an advertising teddy. She gave him a value of $125.00.
