He carves images of his heritage and culture from stories passed down through his ancestors. Ted makes the handles for his knives from natural shed Deer and Elk Antler enhanced with semiprecious stones such as turquoise, coral, and onyx. Black handles are made from Buffalo horn. The blades for the knives are hand-shaped, sharpened, polished and heat-treated individually from 440C stainless steel, 56-60 Rockwell, and acid etched designs are worked on the larger blades . Stands shown are included in the price. All knives are shaped and balanced to provide a perfect grip for the sportsman as well as the ultimate in arts acquisition for the collector.
