Description: This beauty is my take on a 1970's Tele Deluxe. The humbuckers provide that thick and yet super sweet tone we love, used by bands like Coldplay. The alder body was originally a standard Tele route, lacquered and aged by BloomDoom guitars. They did such a killer job! See photos up close for the checking. I decided to route it further, making it fit a Deluxe Tele pickguard. So, there are two holes from the original pickguard exposed and there is not a belly cut. I added more gloss nitrocellulose lacquer which has checking patterns all over. Two of the pickguard screws are longer, slotted ones to reach the bottom of the cavity. The pickups are Mojotone '72 Clone Wide Range Humbuckers. They have the bright and juicy characteristics of the originals CuNiFe humbuckers from the 1970s. They sound incredible with an amp that's starting to break up. It has standard wiring with 500k pots and 0.022uF wax and ceramic disc capacitors. I used a modern, hard tail bridge to dial in the intonation. This thing is a tone beast. Please note I tried to take photos in some different environments to capture the awesome faded fiesta red color. It is a faded and more pastel red not a vibrant red.
