This is the second state with the "an" corrected to "and" on p.232, line 6. The book comes with a very special facsimile of the first edition dust jacket you can only get here, digitally-remastered and printed on coated heavyweight bond. The polymer coating on the paper ensures the brightest colors and sharpest prints, as the ink sits atop the paper rather than being absorbed into the fibers.Edgeworn boards. Front board has a light crease at center (please see pics.) Period-inscribed front endpapers bear a bookplate and have begun to split at gutter. Some penciling on page vi (see pic,) and foxing/fingerprints throughout. Some splatter stains to the edge of the text block, and a stain atop (see pic.) The edge of the first few pages of text has a small bookworm's impression (see pic). Very secure hinges. Binding is very tight and square. Text is very bright and crisp. 449 pages. The book measures approximately 7.5 x 5.5-inches.
