The leader of AIM (Advanced Idea Mechanics) is MODOK who battles Cap when the paralysis wears off. MODOK fires mind bolts but is beaten. AIM soldiers try to take out MODOK because they don't trust him but Cap defeats them. They all board a submarine but MODOK with his last bit of strength explodes the entire base.
