Description: Up for auction is a classic Tag Heuer 1000. This is actually an older Heuer 1000 with the newer Tag dial installed. I haven’t had any luck locating a proper Heuer dial for it. It has a new movement and sapphire crystal installed. Watch is running but needs some minor service- minute hand adjustment needed (the second had will get caught against the minute hand in certain positions), and stem alignment. The movement came with a stem but it seems too short to work properly (crown has to be unscrewed a little bit to get into the hack position for setting watch). These adjustments should be very easier for the qualified watchmaker. These case has normal signs of wear in alignment with its age. The crown is in good condition. It comes with a like new “Tropic Sport” strap that also has the Heuer buckle. Shipping is to the US only.
