The Swamp Rat Knife Company decided to do something special the extremely small batch of SawManDu that they had made with the Integral Saw Teeth on the middle spine of this chopper. This was an extremely small batch made and the only option given was a choice of four different color Canvas Micarta Handle. This is what was said about this knife when it was introduced: Why are these so special? . . . This is the first time that integral saw teeth have come out of our shop in not only a reverse pattern (the sawing action is done on the pull) but they have also been GREATLY enhanced by the full-height flat grind, making the top of the tooth the widest part of the saw tooth with maximum clearance below. This ensures that the sawing action is the most aggressive that you could hope for. There were only a few of these made and I purchased this knife directly from the Swamp Rat Knife Works. This has a SR-77 Steel that is .21" thick with a Full Height Flat Ground Hand Finished Satin SR-77 Blade with a V-Ground Edge which is Razor Sharp! The Rat Satin (Light tooling marks may be visible) Blade goes perfectly with the Textured Green Canvas Micarta Handle. This is Brand New, never used, carried or sharpened.
