Description: Superman Mens Wristwatch Accutime DC Comics 2013 Man of Steel Unique Prototype? This is a pre-owned Superman Mens Wristwatch made by the Accutime Watch Company of New York! It appears to have been produced in conjunction with the 2013 film Man Of Steel -- its coloring is indicative of steel! Why do I say Unique Prototype? This watch was acquired from the offices of DC Comics when it was moving its offices from New York to California in the 2010s. I have looked on eBay and the web extensively -- I can find NO OTHER Superman watch that has the same design as this one -- some are similar, but not the same. So I wonder if this was a prototype design made by accutime that was rejected or modified by DC Comics. Maybe it was a design only for the DC Comics Staff and VIPs. I even reached out to Accutime for some clarity, but they did not respond. Either way, this watch my be a one-of-a-kind collectible! I think it is battery-powered -- the stem seemed to only allow adjusting the time. It is not running and needs a battery (not included). This watch is sold as-is. There is no case.
