Description: SUPER RARE VINTAGE Lenox Company Picnic '89 Special Edition Gift Mug - Monroe Pattern This is an AMAZING SUPER RARE VINTAGE mug from Lenox. The mug is the Monroe pattern, which features red, green, and gold accents along the rim and base. It is the classic Lenox "off-white" color. It is about 3.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter, and can hold about 12 ounces of beverage. This mug is very special in that it was a gift for Lenox employees who attended the company picnic in 1989. There is a special design on the front featuring a turkey leg, picnic blanket and a few insects set on destroying the party. The Lenox name is on the design, as is "Picnic 89." The word "awards" can be seen above the worm, following its wavy shape. This is a one-of-a-kind survivor from a set of maybe a few hundred that were ever made for the picnic. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! There are no chips, cracks, scratches, discoloration or staining. It has NEVER BEEN USED, it's been sitting on display in a china cabinet for about 30+ years.
