Description: this is one of those collectibles that I had set aside when I began this current eBay project, which is to distribute my complex collections before I croak and my daughter has to worry about a lot of rocks. Keeping that in mind, I offer this rare double grooved tool, which I have called a plummet, because it seems to be something like that, but I do not in fact, believe that that is what it is. I think it is a ceremonial tool of some sort, perhaps used to tamp tobacco into a pipe, or some other ceremonial use. Used as a fishing weight? I doubt that very much. The stonework is superb, the material, which is a hardstone, is lovely, and the piece is unique. It’s $139 including the shipping and if you’ll check out the cost of plummets on other eBay sites, where you will see absolutely nothing like this, you’ll see that it’s a good price.
