Description: Antique cabinet card photo of young actress, Sallie Randall, photographed in New York City. Stunning, risqué photo shows the young actress in low cut dress and fancy hat. For reference, an 1890 tobacco card is shown with Sallie Randall. "Trade cards from the set "Actors and Actresses" (N245), issued in 1890 by Kinney Brothers Tobacco to promote Sweet Caporal Cigarettes." Also for reference, an online theater database shows Sallie in two Broadway productions, Burgomaster and Papa's Wife. These were between 1899 and 1901. The outfit may be from the production of Burgomaster. This musical had an interesting history as it had a good run in Chicago, but lasted only about a month on Broadway in New York. Photography studio is listed as White of New York. Was not able to find out too much information about this photographer. See photos for dimensions. Approximately 4 1/8" by 6 1/2". Exact age of photo is unknown. But likely sometime in the 1890s up until 1901. CONDITION: Please check photographs thoroughly for signs of wear.
