Description: You are bidding on 1 New Stuck Case Removal Tool. This tool consists of 4 seperate pieces which are the Body, Stud, Washer, and Nut. The Body, is made from 6061 aluminum so it will not nick up your dies. It is approx 1" long and 1" in diameter. There is a 5/8" bore and a shoulder to locate on standard size dies. The Stud, is a quality USA grade 8 set screw. It is 1/4"-20 and is 1-3/4" long. The Washer, is also USA grade 8. The Nut is Stainless Steel. It is a 1/4"-20 Heavy machine nut which is larger and thicker than a standard nut. This tool uses a stud rather than a bolt and the nut pulls the stud and case up and out. The stud can be screwed into the case to the correct length everytime with any length case. This works better than the bolt method which often causes problems by being to long with short cases. The tool is simple to use. Clamp the die in a vise between two wooden blocks. Drill thru the primer pocket and web into the case. Tap the primer pocket and web 1/4"-20. Then use the tool to pull the case. Screw the stud into the tapped case 6-7 turns. Slide the tool body over the stud, Install the flat washer on the stud so it sits on top of the tool body, Put a drop of oil on top of the washer and on the stud. Screw the heavy nut onto the stud and your ready to go. Once you get some tension on the nut there is no need to hold the stud. Just tighten up the nut and it will pull the case. It is sometimes easier to drill the case hole in stages ending with a #7 drilled hole, which is the correct size for the 1/4-20 tap. This tool is for the hobbyist or professional who I assume has his own tools. You will need a hand drill, a number 7 drill bit, a 1/4"-20 tap, tap wrench, machine oil, and a 1/2" box wrench. Every reloader needs one of these tools in with their reloading equipment for that time when things don't go as planned.
