URSA MAJOR - ALNICO 2 STRAT® SETThe Ursa Major pickups feature a scooped midrange combined with rich glassy highs and a full low end. Playing softly will yield full round tones with great clarity, and playing harder will unleash spanky treble with a well defined attack. Because of the midrange dip, this pickup set works especially well with midrange heavy overdrive pedals. Being lower output pickups they also work great for diming out a smaller amp such as a tweed champ. The Ursa Major set is carefully handcrafted with the finest quality materials - vulcanized fiber bobbins with sand cast alnico 2 poles, scatter wound coils with heavy formvar magnet wire, and vintage style push back cloth leads. The middle pickup is RWRP for hum canceling in the 2 and 4 positions.
