Description: The inside label identifies it as a Stradivarius Copy made in Japan. It was made as a budget instrument and is still a budget instrument. There is a poorly repaired top crack on the treble side of the tailpiece, up to the f-hole. There's visible glue around the crack. Somebody scratched their name onto the back upper bout; it looks like "Debra Marlene". The body is 13-1/8" and the scale length is 21-3/4" so it is between 3/4 and 7/8-size violin. That said, it does play. The bridge is set up to the body. No bow. The case has wear and tear, but works. The case handle, latches, and hinges all work. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 32"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box. Please check out our eBay store, Time Travel Music, for more cool vintage stuff, including a bunch of vintage guitars (and a few ukuleles, banjos, fiddles, mandolins and amps, as well as fiddles, brass, woodwind, and various oddball musical instruments and old instrument brochures & catalogs). And please check out our YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/toadstoolshadow, to hear some of our original music.
