Description: This is a listing for a STM32F407VGT6 MCU on an Arduino Mega2560 socket. This is meant to run rusEFI or Speeduino engine management system. Native rusEFI f407 discovery firmware, and the STM32 port of Speeduino firmware. But if you just need to update a Mega2560 based system to STM32, this might work as well. The motivation behind this is to be able to retrofit Speeduino boards with either Speeduino firmware on stm32, with additional CANbus features, or be able to switch to rusEFI while keeping the same hardware. This has onboard CANBUS PHY connected to PD1/PD0 ( can0 ALT_2 in stm32 world) for communicating with peripherals over canbus. This board has 16 voltage dividers (470/1k) to scale 5v signals down to 3.3v, as well as opamps for those 16 analog inputs. This board does not have buffers between Mega socket and CPU pins, except for the analog inputs. There is one pin not connected = D46. The board does not come with Mega pin sockets installed, please source your own. They should be quite cheap on the usual places. you can either use generic socket pins and cut them to length and solder them in, or specific kits to Mega2560 This board has USB-C port for flashing using DFU. There is a spot for ST-LINK header to flash that way as well. There are two buttons, one for RESET and one for BOOT0. They are mislabeled on the silk.
