Description: This stunning signed Steuben glass vase is a true work of art. Created by Sidney Waugh, a renowned artist, it features a stunning etched glass design of Diana the Huntress and is circa 1937. Sculptor Sidney Waugh was among the first to use the new figural engraving techniques for Steuben. He created a series of decorative pieces using copper-wheel and diamond point engraving, similar to Scandinavian style. The clear glass vase has an etched frosted glass design of Diana with her arrow and her dog chasing the kill. The round footed vase is made of clear glass and boasts a lovely art deco style, measures approximately 4 3/4" high x 4 1/8" at its widest point x 3 1/2" diameter top. Signed Steuben and dated 1937 on the base.
