Description: This is a rare oversized souvenir program from a Special Charity Performance of the Original West End production of the landmark ARTHUR LAURENTS, LEONARD BERNSTEIN and STEPHEN SONDHEIM musical "WEST SIDE STORY" at Her Majesty's Theatre in London on January 6th, 1959. (The Original Broadway production opened September 26th, 1957 at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City and ran for 732 performances. The London production opened December 12th, 1958 and ran for 1039 performances.) ..... The proceeds from this special one-night Benefit Performance helped to rebuild funds for three organizations: The London Federation of Boy's Clubs, the St. Andrew's Home and Club and the Stowe Club for Boys and the program includes several pages dedicated to these organizations.
