Description: Stentor II 4/4 (full-size) violin. Perfect for a new student looking to try playing! I bought this violin based on reviews that it was a great first violin for a new student. I have had a great experience and lots of fun playing it. It has great sound quality for a beginner violin. A full-size violin is recommended for most children 12+ and adult violinists. It has been worked on by a luthier who repositioned the sound post and reshaped the bridge to improve sound quality. The strings pictured (Thomastik Alphayue strings) are what is currently on the violin, and the package is there for example only (it is empty). My luthier put the strings on earlier in the year and it hasn't been played much since, so it should be 2-4 months until you'll need new strings. Finally, the note labels on the neck of the violin are a sticker and NOT part of the violin. It is a well made, vinyl sticker that will not leave reside when removed. I put it on to help me learn the notes on each string and left it on in case someone else would also find it helpful. It can easily be removed if you prefer to learn without it.
