Description: A Stanley Bailey No 5 Jack plane. Made in USA. Unsure of the exact type, but the patent date on the iron indicates type 16, and the lateral lever stamp is an old one. The rear handle has had a repair and a piece grafted on to the horn, it has been refinished, is solid and feels lovely in the hand. The iron is reasonably sharp and tested well, but it would perform better with further honing. I'm happy to combine postage costs where I can. Thank you for looking.
