This system allows for a more confident, consistent, and relaxed draw and let down with a hinge release. Draw Control is activated by holding the thumb barrel down during the draw cycle and when at full draw let off the thumb barrel and start your normal shot sequence. This system does not affect the release angle from shot to shot. The hook and moon are in the same alignment every shot allowing you to micro adjust the speed of the release with great precision. If you choose to not utilize the added benefits of Draw Control, it is easily turned off with the tightening of a screw at the base of the release and you will still have a fully functional hinge. The OnneX Hinge has a micro adjustable firing position allowing you to set the release as fast or slow as you would like. The micro adjustment screw is adjusted with a 5/64 allen key. Turning the screw located behind the thumb knob clockwise will make the release faster and counterclockwise will make the release slower. The OnneX Hinge comes with a no click hook installed and a clicking hook in the package. How to change the hook: To change the hook, you will need a 1/16” allen key to remove the screw that is locking in the dowel pin. With the dowel pin removed the hook will be able to be changed. With the new hook the return spring will need to be reinstalled. To install the spring place the spring legs into the holes in the hinge head and with the cross leg section of the spring wrapping to the back of the head. With the spring in the hinge head slide the hook down behind the cross leg of the spring. Now you can slide the dowel pin through the hinge head spring and hook. With the dowel pin installed reinstall the locking screw. NOTE: Make sure that all parts are installed correctly and the release functions properly before drawing your bow. Unintentional activation can cause serious injury to yourself and others. After each adjustment, test the setting with caution an attention to possible unintentional activation for at least 10 consecutive shots.
