The is an original page from the book published in 1887 by Liebenroth, Von Auw & Co. It was a commercial scrapbook containing one of the first series of color lithographs depicting baseball, included were: Our National Game, Wild Pitch, Fly Ball, Caught Between Bases, Foul ball and Home Run. The scrapbook would have had a blank page between the images, and more often than not, 19th c trade cards and scraps were pasted in. Overall condition is good, light chipping along spine edge, light soiling and toning of paper, t/r corner damage, tip of b/r corner broken off and replaced/repaired, a few small edge tears, (see scan).
