Description: Here are three very special Vintage Halloween Cardboard Die-Cuts! They are reproductions of 1940's originals. There is a witch kitty looking into a jack-o-lantern, a stunning black cat sitting in a jack-o-lantern , and lastly, a spooky foursome of a ghost, a kitty witch holding a jack-o-lantern on a stick, a devil kitty who is ready to trick-or-treat, and a raised bat looking to join the three. These sweet old classic designs from Halloween past have a neat story. The Sisters tell me they used to use these for incentives during the Halloween season when their students needed extra support for staying on task. They would write the students name on the reverse with a "pep-up" expression or verse. We added stickers on the back where there were spots of glue residue and brown floss or tan ribbon for hanging. The cutouts are made of heavy cardboard with bright coloring and a glossy finish. They almost look like they have been varnished. The tallest die-cut measures approximately 5 1/8" in height. All three measure approximately 5" in width. This is for a set of three in the designs shown in the photos. They are in fine vintage condition, having been safely stored. The stick holding the jack-o-lantern has a slight bend that could easily be repaired and reinforced with tape.
