The fruitfulness of the work of the1970 group was greatly enhanced by Ital-ian Christians who planned much of thework program and assisted in many won-derful ways.The methods used by this project groupto teach Christ in Italy were many andvaried. Having intensely studied the Ital-ian language before going to Italy, theproject members were able to encouragethose who had begun Bible studies as aresult of work done in previous years,to interest people who had never seen aBible in a Christ who loves them, and tosing, in Italian, of Him and His love.Especially helpful in this year’s workwas the use of a new loudspeaker systemwhich enabled many more people in citysquares and villages to hear the singing.Particularly interesting during thisyear of work, Justin Roberts, an elderin the Church of Christ at Belpre, Ohio,and president of Ohio Valley College ofParkersburg, W. Va., and his wife, Nor-ma, worked with the group during thelatter half of the summer to survey thework and to encourage the young peoplewho make up this unique group.The Donmoyer Avenue Church of Christin South Bend, Indiana, continues to spon-sor and to guide this project. Membersof this active congregation dedicate muchwork to make this endeavor successful.“Project Italy” has for five yearsbeen a work for Christ, and the successof these, and future years can only becounted in the increase caused by Godon seed planted in the hearts of sincere,Truth-seeking individuals.
