Description: Soundcraft Systems model L46B Portable Lectern "Lecternette" Marked "Used", but practically new. It was used for demonstration purposes. Solid State, from the the 1980's. This unit was purchased (with other Soundcraft System products) to sell, but was never sold and only used a handful of times for demonstration. Can easily provide audio for a room of 600 people. Two external microphone (low impedance 1/4" plug) sockets are on the rear as well as Auxilary RCA mono in and out sockets. Two class 2 external sockets are available as well. This is great for the traveling "pitchman" - this word can mean so many things. You just walk into a room, set it up on the table, altar or stage and start addressing the crowd before you. When the unit is opened up, an angled space is provided for notes. Upon power up the controls may be lit (5 shielded bulbs). Embedded speaker has one volume knob. There is a volume knob for the microphone. There is a separate volume knob for the external microphones. There is an input level knob for the Auxilary input. A horizontal side winder type battery level monitor is in the center of the console. A sales literature book - with color photos (1980s style)- showing this L46B and other SS products available at the time is included. Factory inspection sheet and warranty card included as well.
