The LCD panel is bonded directly to the protective glass touch layer for improved clarity when compared to conventional screens. An internal anti-glare filter reduces sunlight reflections for easier viewing and safer driving. The floating display lets you add a big screen to many dashboards with DIN openings. A big screen for challenging dashboards While large displays are becoming the norm in late-model vehicles, many older cars don't have enough space in the dash for a large video screen. No problem with the XAV-AV8500. The chassis of the receiver fits into a single-DIN opening, so it will work with many different vehicles.
