Description: Pictured is an uncommon & infrequently seen yellow ware colander offered for sale. The colander is highlighted with four (4) thin white slip bands around the midsection and some 56 small pierced holes for drainage. There are also two small holes for hanging the bowl. The small colander measures 8 1/2" in diameter, 4" in height, & dates from 1880 - 1915. It's in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs. A clean example....
