Description: This is a wonderful signed copy of Oscar Velasquez's sketches of historic homes and places in the Upstate of South Carolina. It does have some staining and age spots on it (see photos). It also has a store sticker on the very back page (Edith's ~ if you are familiar with Abbeville you will recognize it as one of the stores on the Square from years gone by). While not in perfect condition, this is a great book that captures some wonderful architectural and historic places through the sketches by artist Oscar Velasquez. I hope you will enjoy this book and the treasury of sketches it contains. While not a complete list, it includes sketches of the Belmont-Inn (Eureka Hotel), Reid House, Donald's United Methodist Church, Union Baptist Church, Abbeville Presbyterian Church, Harris Funeral Home, Burt-Stark Mansion, Downtown Calhoun Falls, Trinity Episcopal, Due West Main Street, and so many more.
