Also, check the block for warp to ensure that is flat, and surface finish is not corroded or damaged. This ensures proper gasket sealing. Follow the correct torque specs and directions.Please note that if your car is 2005 or newer, the torque spec's are higher, and therefore we recommend new head bolts.
