Description: Signed Chinese Asian Oriental Cat Painting On Silk Framed Between Glass with Carrying CaseThis is a SUPERB Chinese Asian Cat painting on silk that is between 2 sheets of glass .It is beautifully painted with gorgeous colors and is mounted on a revolving wooden frame with ornate wooden feet that are easily removed so that it can stow away in its own paddedcarryingcase for easy travel or transport.There is a signature painted to one side in Asian Chinese Calligraphy style.The painting without frame measures 14-1/16" by 10-1/4" .With the frame it measures approx. 19.5" inches by 12" inches .The stained redwood frame is beautifully detailed with removable ornate feet that is intended to allow for freestanding display, but one of the 4 wood bracket feet is missing as shown in the photos so it would be better for hanging or wall display since itonly comes with 3 feet.The feet are very simple in actual design so it wouldn't be too hard to find a replacement or to make one yourself that would fit into the two slots on bottom of frame if you wish it to freestand without being backed up against a flat surface.Included is the original padded carrying case with traditional Chinese "Frog" styleclosures.This is a very beautiful original piece and would be great home decor in any room.EXCELLENT VINTAGE 1940's CONDITION -The beautifully detailed frame with removable ornate feet, that allows for freestanding display, only comes with 3 of the 4 feet original feet so it is more suitable for wall hanging display than it is freestanding.
