This delayed start feature has been specifically developed for working with blood collection tubes in clinical in vitro diagnostics (IVD). The necessary clotting time can be preset on the device to help improve work processes. The benchtop centrifuge is available with numerous swing-out and fixed-angle rotors, along with various buckets and adapters. The extensive range of accessories can accommodate tubes and flasks from 1.5 ml to 100 ml as well as microtiter and deepwell plates. The Sigma 2‑7 is also available as an IVD model.
