Offered: one pair of pre-owned , SiDi Dragon 3 carbon SRS mountain shoes, in Black Vernice with black mesh , size Mens 42.5 EU medium (D) width (not Mega-wide, not Slim) . Most people say this size fits closer to a US 8.5 , medium width shoe ( a size 42 is closer to a US 8 , and a size 43 is closer to a US 9 ). White size imprint on outer tongue has rubbed off, however the "42 1/2" Stamp/imprint on the outer tongue is still there, can only be seen on the right light angle (impossible to picture). If you need any specific measurement before buying just message me what you need ( I'm confident these are a 42.5 size , as the sole measures close to 10.2" inches long). Please double make sure this size is for you ( pictured last is a Sidi shoe size chart). Great upper buckles and a nice stiff sole! These were $400- 450 when new MSRP. Made in Italy, ( not Romania, like most mid-lower tier Sidi shoes)Vernice with mesh uppers , road/MTB / CX. Cleat bolt pattern on bottom is a standard 2-bolt, meant for all mountain clipless systems.Rubberized toe-tip protector built into shoe stiff efficient Carbon composite sole ( I recommend using a metal cleat plate between sole and cleat, to help extend the life of Carbon insert !!)Adjustable heel cup : able to adjust tension to the heel area for a customizable fit SRS walking lugs : so as they wear low, they're replaceableReplaceable top buckle / strap, instep, tecno-2 buckle, adjustable heel cup tensioners , Carbon sole insert, SRS walking lugs, and bottom brass cleat plate.** If you need Shimano SPD or Crank Bros cleats with the purchase, just message me upon paying I can include 1 pair. Condition wise, I'd say these shoes are cosmetically in Very-good condition, and functionally they are Very-good. Please read my condition rating scale below to give you a better general idea of how I rate condition. The main condition mark on these shoes is the outer sides of the Right shoe, Vernice has small chipping just below the bottom Velcro strap(size of a dime, or smaller). The Left shoe inner side has a vertical Vernice top layer scuff (just below were the instep feed in is located). Bottom walking lugs show usage, remaining is about 10-20% front, 40-50% middle next to cleat plate , and 50-60% back heel. The bottom of the soles on both shoes have light/ moderate scratches and scuffs from mounting/dismounting pedals and walking. The outer heel cup area has light /moderate scuffs /scratches. No through cuts/ rips, or gashes in the uppers. Cleat threads have been regreased, and good to go. Shoes are fully functional. The top buckles (easier to install ) , and middle techno-2 buckles are replaceable. Shoes come with used red Sidi aftermarket insoles. Please see pictures. ** I recommend installing toe spikes if you do a lot of hike & biking (will also extend the life of the front lug) .**Also be sure to use a metal cleat plate between carbon sole and cleat , will help extend the life of the car on insert !! Condition rating scale:*New: never used*Like new: used on 1-2 rides, cosmetically and functionally perfectly fine, close to new but not quite. *Excellent: used, no major condition marks (i.e. no cuts in the fabric) and fully functional (no missing parts), possibly 1-2 minor condition marks, not quite like new.*Very Good: used, a few minor cosmetic condition marks (i.e. scrapes/scratches on bottom of sole, toe and side of shoe are has minor rubs/scuffing), however condition marks do not affect functionality of the shoes to be tools for your feet, fully functional otherwise. Tons of life left in them, but not perfect cosmetically *Good: used, a step down from a very-good condition shoe, in that there may be one major condition mark, and several cosmetic condition marks (i.e. worn sole from walking/general riding, scrapes/scuffing of the outer shoe material, cosmetic small details that are imperfections caused by usage and/or came from the shoe factory that way, etc), however shoes are fully functional in every way. Lots of life left in the shoes, but not perfect cosmetically.* Fair : well used and they show it cosmetically, higher usage of wear to the soles, possibly one rip of the fabric on the interior and/or exterior. Usually 1+ major condition marks ( rip(s) / cut(s) on the uppers). Several cosmetic condition marks. Otherwise, shoes are still functional to be used. *Poor: : very well used, several condition marks (mainly at least one tear/rip in the outer and inner fabric of the shoe), and possibly not functional to some degree (a buckle and/or strap missing, heal pad missing, etc). Shoes need to be overhauled with 1+ new/used parts to make them functional again. ************************************************************************************************************* *Side note: white shoes tend to exhibit wear (mainly cosmetic condition wear) at a higher rate then other colors. Depending upon the shoe, if there is white plastics used it will eventually slightly yellow (and possibly get darker in yellow color), no matter if you ride in the rain, or if it is a fair weather riding shoe (the sun does chemically change the composition / pigment of the plastics (certain grade of plastic this will affect, but not all plastics), and accelerates the color pigment of white/clear plastic by turning it yellow. This goes for all manufactures, Sidi, Shimano, Specialized, Diadora, etc. Please be aware of that before bidding, and for future long term care of your shoes. **Side info: Well taken care of cycling shoes can/ do last 5+ years (in some cases, road shoes 10+ years), unlike street shoes. Take care of your shoes, and your shoes will take care of your feet. A properly fit cycling shoe is the #1 best performance move that you can make on your body for three main reasons : 1. The right shoe will help lesson the effects of the foot/pedal contact pressure point on the bike while riding. The proper sized/fit shoe will increase your comfort factor while riding. 2. Given the above #1 , your foot heath will increase = your health is your wealth. 3. In regards to energy transmission while pedaling, the right shoe will increase ones wattage /power transmission to the pedals, thus your efficiency on the bike will increase. Find the right shoe / pedal combination, and you'll majorly step up your game on the bicycle. Sizing information: See my last photo for the Sidi shoe size chart..
