The cup is done in a soft ivory interior and an absolutely beautiful ring when tapped. Done in their Ripon shape, all pieces have gold trim on a slightly scalloped edge. The cup has a footed bottom, also done in gold...no signs of wear to the gold. It actually looks like it was never used. The saucer has the pattern name Melody in ink and the cup has the pattern number 13328. This pattern is an older one, dating to the 1930s and discontinued in the Shelley repertoire.
