Description: For sale is an original Seth Thomas Mark 1 deck clock. The dial is marked US Navy and has the date of 1941. The movement is in good working order and keeps good time. The movement is dated 1943. It was probably swapped out as many were during World War 2.The case has minor scratches and some paint. The clock is a two piece design. The back mounts to a wall or bulkhead and the front is hinged using a pin. To wind the clock and adjust the time keeping, the back slides open to allow access. This is done to protect proof the movement. A great piece of US Navy history. I key is included with the clock. Please look at the pictures, they are the best description. Note: This item can not be shipped internationally. The dial has a very low level of radiation which is sometimes blocked during shipping. The item is then returned as undeliverable.
