Description: Minton Tiles. Five Minton Victorian tiles featuring a central flower (a chrysanthemum ?) surrounded by fern leaves and four daisies. Coloured in a reddish-brown or maroon with cream highlights. Marked Mintons’ China Works Stoke on Trent on the back, along with Minton’s globe stamp surrounded by the words Stoke Upon Trent; Walbrook London. For 3 tiles this is diagonal, the others are horizontal. Size: 6" x 6", total weight 2.45Kg. Condition: generally good vintage condition, with some minor surface scratches. Most bear a few nibbles around the edges, one has damage to the top edge and some larger nibbles. The central part of the tiles are all good. Further Minton items in my store.
