ALL drives are erased using either Enhanced Security Erase, Security Erase, or DoD 3 Pass Erase, depending on what methods the drive will support. A printout of the erase will be included with each drive that were supported. (A few older drives may not have a printout but are erased via HDSP instead)Erased drives will NOT have a partition. They will be BLANK. And to make sure that they arrive to you in the same condition:They are put in an anti-static bag.Wrapped in small bubble wrap. Put into a 6.5"x4.5"x1.25" box. Shrink wrapped. (not pictured) Put into a 9"x7" bubble mailer. (final package dimension is 7" x 5" x 2") Average packaged weight for single drive is ~7 ounces.
