Description: This unique Science/Biology Lot includes 4 boxes of prepared microscope slides (3 of which are full and 1 that only has a couple of slides) and a hardcover book: Difco Manual, Ninth Edition. Starting with the slides and boxes: the boxes have removable lids and dove tail joints. The boxes are all sized a little different but they are around 3.5 inches wide and 7 inches long. They boxes have labels at the end of the box that you can write in what the glass slides are. Unfortunately, nothing is identified. There are some of the slides that have years labeled in the 1950's. See pictures because the boxes are not perfect; they have some writing on them. Also included in this lot is the book, Difco Manual. It is the Ninth Edition. We are hoping it may relate as the manual is labeled one of dehydrated culture media and reagents for microbiological and clinical laboratory procedures from 1953. There are 341 pages plus the index in this manual, which is in very good condition. If you love science or have a microscope, this mysterious lot of microscope slides may be for you!
