Description: This is a very SCARCE lot of Spanish humorist's Enrique Jardiel Poncela's novels. Printed in 1959 and 1960 by Editora Latino Americana in Mexico and Guatemala, this lot is in VG shape, considering the kind of paper it was printed on (think Grosset and Dunlap of the 1930s). Four of the novels have their original dustjackets, and all these are intact, with some minor chipping. Dustjackets repeat the pictorial yellow hardcovers. Pages especially the end-pages show some foxing. Pages on the whole are yellowed, again as the Grosset and Dunlap series would show also. For the. kind of paper, these are in wonderful condition. Bindings are intact and functioning. I will ship together as a lot. Low opening offer. Happy to ship internationally via the shipping choice of eBay. Thank you for looking. Poncela is an absurd, surreal, humorous figure especially of the 1930s in Spain. Well worth reading. La Tournee de Dios, Amor Se Escribe Sin Hache, 5 Kilos de Cosas, and Las Ladrones Somos Gente Honrada all have their original dustjackets. Maximas Minimas has no dustjacket and shows the original pictorial cover only.
