Description: This is probably the best single documentary ever made on the subject of Bigfoot or Sasquatch. The production values are obvious; the direction and photography are excellent, the interviewees are intelligent and allowed to talk! The same group would go on to make the Monster Quest series for the History channel. Originally aired on Discovery channel in 2003, the DVD came out for home video that Fall. As far as I know, it hasn't been on TV or streaming services for many years, so this is getting close to a last chance to own a hard copy forever... A great advantage of owning the DVD over just seeing it on TV, is the bonus features. This disc contains the full 60 seconds of the 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film (only about 5 seconds are shown most of the time), The 1996 Memorial Day Footage from Washington, Paul Freeman's Blue Mountains footage (1994?) and the 2001 Marble Mountains footage. Regardless of what you think of the various films, this is the best digital copy available to the public! Yes, even "HD" on YouTube isn't as good. This is a standard definition DVD, formatted for the USA (NTSC). It is widescreen, and up-converts on my TV so well it's hard to tell it's not in HD. For international buyers, the DVD does not appear to be region coded, so it should play fine on Blu-Ray machines (but not standard DVD players) anywhere in the world.
