Description: SAMUEL BECKETT Archive of five items Typed letter, 1 page, 8 1/4" x 10 3/4" (recto only), November 28, 19586 Rue des Favorites Paris 15me Signed in dark blue ink: "Samuel Beckett" To David Solomon, assistant editor at Esquire Magazine Together with carbon copies of three letters: two from Solomon to Beckett, one from Solomon to Barney Rosset at Grove Press and a typed letter, signed, dated December 12, 1958 to Solomon from Judith Schmidt at Grove Press. Solomon wrote to Beckett soliciting a contribution for the anniversary issue of "Esquire." Beckett said he had no new material, and that he had written nothing since "Krapp's Last Tape." He recommends that they consult Grove Press and his work "Textes Pour Rien." Condition: very good The group: $1,850.00 Samuel Beckett was an Irish author and dramatist.
