It's called full grain because none of the tough and super resistant fibers that grow together on top of the hide, have been removed. Some designers use the leather that has had that part split off so there's no blemish to be found and that leather is way cheaper. Having a leather backpack made out of that leather is like having a roof without any shingles. Because full-grain leather is the strongest cow leather on the planet (and the most beautiful in our opinion) that is why we choose to use it. The leather backpack is stitched together with the strongest thread we could find, a German polyester thread, and finished off with antique brass hardware. Our zippers are some of the highest quality zippers we could find. They come from Spain.
