Dual-source operation means two different amplifiers / receivers can drive selected speakers simultaneously. For example, you can choose to listen to jazz in a couple of rooms and classical in all the others. Each speaker pair has its own input selector, volume control and on / off switch. The SDB speaker selectors work with all speakers rated 4 ohms and above.
