Description: The RumRill line of art pottery was made by Red Wing Potteries in Red Wing Minnesota only from 1934 to 1937. The name RumRill was used to distinguish these Red Wing pieces from the typical utilitarian ware for which they had been known for many years. This mini/cabinet vase # 557 has an oval foot and a flared top rim and was finished in a soft yellow semi-matte glaze. It is about 3-1/8 inches tall and 3-1/4 inches across the top rim. The oval bottom rim is about 2-1/4 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches front-to-back.. The shape number 557 is in-mold impressed in the recessed bottom. It is in good vintage condition - no hairlines, chips, or crazing. This is a duplicate from my own collection and it's time to move it on to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have. Ships USPS. Please look at my ebay store for more RumRill listings!
