Please note that these revolvers are marked "Blackhawk", “Vaquero”, or “New Vaquero” on the frame, but incorporate Ruger’s Bisley style gripframe, which is a different shape than the standard “plowhandle” style grip. Please check the pictures in this listing carefully and note the circular cutout at the top corner of the grip, as well as the longer and distinct general shape and appearance of the Bisley grip, and compare with your existing grips or frame. Your gripframe should have the corresponding circular shape at the top corner. Our Ruger Bisley grips are machined to fit ALL VERSIONS of Ruger’s Bisley revolvers. There are some specific technical variances in Ruger’s Bisley gripframes that Ruger has used over the years. Our grips are properly milled to fit ALL STYLES of these revolvers, both blued and stainless. All of the milling cuts have been done in advance, in our factory, for a drop-on fit. Please note that very occasionally, the grip pin hole in the back of the grip may need to be opened up slightly if your grip pin is out of normal position (tolerance). This takes less than a minute and is rarely needed (less than 1% of the time). Full installation and mounting instructions included. Please note that these will fit the Bisley style frame ONLY, and not the standard Single Action “plowhandle” style, or the Birdshead style which are a completely different shape. Occasionally, however, your grip pin may have been installed slightly out of alignment or position, and you may find it necessary to slightly open up the grip pin holes on the back of the grips to get the grips to seat fully.
