Haulage Company Larger items will be delivered by a haulage company on a pallet service, which will be delivered to the road side by tail lift. Sub-contractor drivers are used and are not obliged to carry anything off the pallet or carry items onto your property. The haulage company will contact you directly to agree a delivery date with you. It is your responsibility to be in to receive, check and sign for your goods. Goods MUST be checked in front of the driver immediately and sign for ‘in good condition’. This is your opportunity to ensure you are happy with your order. If there is an issue please call us before returning any goods. Note the signature will void a later claim for Damage in Transit so it is vital you check your goods right way before signing. Very Important You MUST be in to receive your goods on the date agreed with the haulage company. If you are not in, you will incur a re delivery fee for the haulage company to re deliver your goods on a specified and agreed day.
