ROGERS SUPER TEN 1970s vintage snare drum shell 5x14 Chrome Over Steel free ship

Description: Oh Boy! Free Shipping US48 only You are looking at a used vintage ROGERS SUPERTEN Snare Drum 5x14 chrome over steel shell. It is in pretty good condition. I know this is chrome over steel, and a magnet does stick to it. The size is 5x14. This one has a low factory Serial number of 1258. Year is about the early 1970s give or take a couple years. The one big problem with the drum is that it has no parts. Although the tone control muffler is still in it and working. And the SUPERTEN badge remains in good condition, along with the grommet. For this reason, I am calling it a parts drum, or repair project. Ten lug drum. Buddy Rich liked 10 lug drums. It takes beavertail lugs. This snare drum would be a great drum when you get it together. There may be a slight scuff or scratch in a panel or two. It does not appear to have ever been cleaned with steel wool. We never recommend steel wool. It scratches the chrome clean, quickly, and then you have clean scratches. It has no bad dents. Photos show most of the flaws. Check the inside shots of the shell. There are some small rust spots inside the shell under the bearing edges. The shell outside is clean and looks good, but you can further detail it yourself.
