The stock audio system is okay, but if you care about sound, you'll want to step things up a notch. Rockford Fosgate's Stage 4 Polaris audio upgrade kit is the top-shelf system for the General. With a digital marine receiver, four powerful speakers, a 4-channel amp, and a 10" subwoofer, this rugged system comes with all the parts and pieces needed for a smooth, hassle-free installation. Each component is tough enough for trail duty, so whether you're racing up a sand dune or blasting through a mud pit, you won't have to worry about your audio gear getting trashed. Rockford Fosgate designed this kit to fit right into your Polaris General, with no cutting and no modification needed. It all starts with the receiver Rockford Fosgate's PMX-2 digital media receiver packs a lot of features into a compact, water-resistant package. This trail-ready stereo features built-in Bluetooth®, so you can stream music stored on your phone, or tune into Pandora® and enjoy your favorite playlists. If you prefer to plug in, you'll find an aux input, plus a USB input that will charge your phone while you're playing music. Speaking of charges, the PMX-2 also has a low-voltage warning alert built-in, so you won't accidentally drain your battery. Receiver and 4 speakers, plus an amp and a sub Four powerful Prime speakers Rockford Fosgate's Prime PM1652B speakers are designed for outdoor use. The treated poly cones withstand moisture and sunlight, as do the 1" bridge-mounted aluminum tweeters. They're really easy to install, too, thanks to the direct-fit speaker enclosures included in your General kit. Made from a fiber-reinforced composite blend, they bolt right in using the factory mounting holes. No drilling needed! The Stage 4 package also includes a pair of PM1652W-MB wakeboard tower speakers. These compact speakers feature 6-1/2" woofers and aluminum dome tweeters that together handle up to 75 watts RMS and deliver crisp, powerful sound. The adjustable clamps (included) rotate for perfect positioning on your Polaris General. Big bass from a 10" sub The Prime Series RM110D2B subwoofer fits neatly into your General with help from a cleverly designed enclosure that fits right into your General's dash. The sub itself features an injection-molded polypropylene cone body, an Aramid fiber spider, and a weather-resistant Santoprene surround.
