Description: Beautiful, vintage HO scale Rivarossi Unlettered 0-8-0 USRA Switcher Locomotive with Coal Tender, in Excellent Overall Condition in Original AHM box. (Model originally was an Indiana Harbor Belt, but the roadname has been painted over on the tender.) Road # 102, Stock # 5082. Made In Italy. Take a look at the photos (enlarged) and see what you think. (Pardon any camera flash reflection.) ALL factory-installed detail parts appear to be present as loco looks to have been very gently run! Loco was test-run by me and it ran excellent/smoothly, for just a few feet in both directions on a straight track to confirm it runs. Headlight illuminates. It might could use a good lube & oil, because it has sat idle in the box for quite some time. As you can see, both the loco & tender bodies are in excellent overall condition. As can be seen in last 2 photos, the silver metal wheels on the locomotive & tender indicate only "light" use, and they are also extremely clean! I cleaned all the wheels myself, for optimal electrical pick-up. Tender has a custom-installed Kadee knuckle coupler and electrical pick-up. (Loco will not run without the tender.) Rivarossi did not manufacture their 0-8-0's to include a front coupler. Original paperwork is included (see photos 13 & 14), and is dated July, 1970. Box is shelf-worn, but it remains in very good/solid condition with window completely intact and the factory-applied cellophane wrapping still around most of it (see 1st photo).
